All copy or material sent to us for use in production of an order, will be accepted as being in compliance with all applicable laws regarding trademark, copyright, right of privacy, patent or similar protection. The customer, by submitting such copy, represents that our use on the items ordered will not violate any such laws, and as such, we hereby disclaim any liability for compliance with such laws in the use of the customer’s copy or material. The customer hereby agrees to hold us harmless to any damages arising as a consequence of use of said design or copy.
CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65
All our products meet applicable federal safety and warning requirements as enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. California Proposition 65, otherwise known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, states that products shipped to CA must display product warnings informing users of chemicals known to the state of CA to include carcinogens or reproductive toxins unless such chemicals are not present or are present below established Safe Harbor Levels... The printing inks used to decorate our products do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would require a California Proposition 65 warning label, although Proposition 65 has not fully established Safe Harbor Levels for all materials used in all our products. If requested, prior to shipment, a warning label can be applied (see below) ensuring compliance with California Proposition 65 regulatory requirements. Warning: This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

They are not intended to represent that the products are either endorsed by or produced for the owners of the artwork, design or trademark
We assume no liability if a hand-written order is misinterpreted. If there are any questions as to hand written copy, a paper proof will be provided and a charge of $10(g) will apply.
PLACING AN ORDER
All orders are accepted subject to our standard delivery and credit terms. If for any reason we cannot meet the required delivery, you will be contacted by a Customer Service Representative.
PRODUCTION TIME – RUSH ORDERS
Normal production (subject to inventory availability) is approximately 7-10 working days after any proof approvals and credit acceptance. Changes to product specifications, missing information on purchase orders, packaging, or for quantities above those shown in the catalog, may impact delivery time. Rush delivery dates must be accepted by Bankers® and rush charges depending on the amount of prep and overtime required to fulfill the request may be charged. Rush orders should be clearly marked and should grant permission to use an express shipping method. We will do whatever is necessary to meet a critical in-hands date including utilizing rush service and/or expedited shipping unless otherwise instructed.
PRICING • QUOTATIONS
Prices are subject to change on 30 days notice. Please use our website to check for the most current pricing and ongoing specials. Unless otherwise noted, written quotations are valid for 45 days. All pricing is FOB New York. Quotations are for price and delivery only, and do not guarantee automatic acceptance of order or stock availability unless specifically indicated. Verbal offers are not binding until they are confirmed in writing by our office.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
We will not accept changes to an order, unless made in writing and acknowledged by one of our Customer Service Representatives. Cancellations must also be requested in writing. Canceled orders will be subject to charges for work completed prior to cancellation.
We unconditionally guarantee our products against manufacturer’s mechanical defects. Ballpoint pen refills have a minimum shelf life of approximately 18 months.
Receipt of order by us does not constitute order acceptance. With the extension of credit, our terms are 1%/10 net 30. We accept VISA Mastercard and American Express. All payments must be in US funds Any special pricing arrangements will only be valid if payment is made within our agreed terms.
RETURNS AND REPLACEMENTS
No returns for repair, credit or replacement will be accepted without prior authorization. Merchandise returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. All authorized returns must be made within 30 days from the time order was received. Any returned merchandise must be packed securely to avoid damage in transit. Any credit issued will only be for actual quantity of product returned.
Digital artwork can be emailed to us either in Mac of PC format. Artwork should be in vector format with any associated type converted to outlines. Our preference is that artwork be submitted to us in Adobe Illustrator ® format. Multi-color artwork should be clearly marked and PMS colors should be referenced. Depending on the printing process utilized, we will do our best to match the requested colors. Artwork received in other formats or poor quality submissions, may not be regarded as camera-ready and may incur art charges.
LOGOS • TYPESETTING • LAYOUTS • PROOFS
Any type submitted should be in Adobe Illustrator® format with text converted to outlines. Text for screen printed orders can be sent in MS Word format. Special or custom typefaces should be specified, and may result in additional charges. If no specific typeface is requested we reserve the right to choose type styles and set copy for best appearance and legibility. Copy will be arranged according to instructions provided, or in our art department’s best judgement, if no instructions are provided. If there are any concerns with respect to a layout, a paper proof should be requested $10(g). The cost for a screen printed merchandise proof is $25(g) plus product cost and freight. If camera-ready artwork or digital artwork is supplied we will size artwork to our Art Department’s discretion unless otherwise instructed. The cost of a screen printing Spec Sample is $40(g).
CHANGE OF INK
A change of ink charge of $15(g) applies when an imprint color is changed on any portion of an order.
With screen printing, we provide a wide variety of imprint colors to choose from; however, if you require a particular PMS color, we offer two options. For $15(g) we can provide a “close to” color match, or for $30(g) an exact match can be provided. On all digitally printed products there is no charge for PMS color matching; however, because of the process involved, exact matching may not be possible. If colors are critical, a product proof is strongly suggested.
CHANGE OF COPY
A change of copy charge of $15(g) applies to each additional ad copy in a given order. If any ad copy falls below the specified product minimum shown in the catalog, then, an under minimum charge of $20(g) will apply instead of a change of copy charge.
We have the ability to screen print or pad print the clip of certain pens. For this option, there is a set-up charge of $30(e) in addition to a running charge of $.13(g).
Laser engraving is the process whereby an imprint is permanently etched into the finish of the product. The standard laser imprint area for each product varies and is indicated below the price block for each product. Unless otherwise directed we will lay out the imprint to make the most effective use of the available image area. On most laser engraved pens we offer our exclusive Laser Rotation Process which enables us to increase the available imprint area. See page 83 for details and associated costs. On any laser engraved order requiring straight line type we will set the text in one of our standard fonts. On certain pens we have the ability to laser engrave more than the included lines of copy. On those products, extra lines of text are available for $.05(g) per line. Any electronic type or custom typefaces sent to us for use in laser engraving must be in outline form, and will be billed as if we were laser engraving a logo with a set-up charge of $40(g) and a running charge of $.30(g)
OXIDATION (CHROME PENS)
Oxidation is the process whereby a laser engraved image is chemically darkened to provide greater contrast for the image. This is suggested on chrome pens. The added cost for oxidation is $.25(g) per pen.
A charge of $.50(g) per engraved name applies. A list of names should be submitted electronically in either an MS Word of MS Excel document. If only a written list of names is provided, a charge for inputting the list of $50(g) per 100 names (or part thereof) and a paper proof will be provided and charged at $10(g) per page.
LASER ENGRAVED PROOFS
The cost for a laser engraved paper proof or emailed proof is $10(g). The cost for a laser engraved Merchandise Proof is $25(g). The cost for a laser engraved Spec Sample is $40(g).
ORDER CONFIRMATION • EMAIL
Orders and artwork should be sent to us via email. Please verify completeness and accuracy of information being emailed. To insure receipt of email, please request receipt verification. Bankers® cannot be held responsible for transmission malfunctions or ISP downtime.
MINIMUMS • OVERS & UNDERS
Minimums are specified for each product. The absolute minimum is usually ½ the catalog quantity shown. An under minimum charge of $20(g) applies when your order for a given imprint is less than the minimum quantity shown; even if that order is part of a larger order whose total quantity is above the minimum. Normally, we ship the exact ordered, however, all imprinted orders are subject to a +/-5% printing variation. If no overs are wanted, orders should be marked accordingly.
All co-op programs must be approved in writing and renewed annually. Total quantity used during a program year should exceed the end qua-ntity shown in the catalog for each item in question. Co-op orders qualify for end column pricing.
Unless directed otherwise, our standard ship method is via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground (at our discretion). Neither delivers to PO Boxes. We cannot guarantee transit time once a shipment leaves our factory. Insurance is added to freight charges and included in the total transportation charges when billed. Orders that do not request a specific shipping method will be shipped via the most economical method to meet any in-hands date. Subsequent shipments of an order after the initial release incur a split shipment charge of $10(g) per release. For orders being shipped to multiple destinations, a drop shipment charge of $10(g) applies for each additional destination. All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of merchandise. We do not charge any handling charges for shipping 3rd party.
REFILLS • REFILL SUBSTITUTION
All our pens come standard with a deluxe black ink refill. Some pens are available with a choice of either blue or black ink are are noted accordingly. There is a refill substitution charge on pens that come standard with black ink refills but can accomdate a blue ink refill. Please contact factory for availability and any specific requests.
